Overview

Joyology is a provisioning center.

The project scope for Joyology was to create a modern retail space targeting medical cannabis users. While undertaking this endeavor, we had to tackle a significant challenge: poor soil conditions on the site. To overcome this obstacle, we implemented an innovative solution by placing the building on helical piles - these piles were driven deep into the ground, reaching over 100 feet down to reach the bedrock. The design of the building itself was carefully considered to maximize its potential. Light-colored natural materials were chosen to reflect the sun's rays, as the structure sits atop a hill. Drawing inspiration from Scandinavian modern design, we aimed to create a simple yet elegant facade for this unique retail space.
