Project Size: Kiosk Pod
Fika Architects partnered with Craig Necci and Sodexo to develop an innovative and adaptable design concept for candy kiosks to be replicated across multiple locations. The design goal was to create a kiosk that was both functional and visually striking, with the ability to seamlessly integrate into varied environments while remaining easy to operate.
The concept features a simple yet bold aesthetic, where the design gives the illusion of a ribbon elegantly wrapping around the stand. This flowing form helps create a sense of movement and dynamism, while maintaining a clean, modern look. The design also emphasizes flexibility—particularly with the ability to close the kiosk without disrupting the visual cohesion of the surrounding displays.
To achieve this, we integrated large LED screens into the kiosk design that function like an operable wall system. When closed, the screens align with adjacent displays, creating a unified appearance. When open, the screens reveal the candy kiosk, transforming it into a striking focal point in the space.
The final design balances aesthetic appeal with practical functionality, ensuring the kiosks are not only visually engaging but also versatile enough to be deployed across multiple locations with ease.
